Welcome To Horizon 360
Horizon Hub
Your Path, Mentored Around You
A physical mentoring hub for adolescents who have chosen their own path — whether through online programs, courses, or self-directed exploration — that offers community, mentor support, and daily sessions, helping them expand their horizons and build a stronger foundation for life.
About Us
Many adolescents don’t thrive in traditional education — whether they are creative, independent thinkers, or simply learn differently. Horizon Hub was created to provide a space where each individual can explore and thrive on their own terms through personalized mentoring.
Our Hub supports adolescents who have completed mandatory schooling and have chosen to pursue independent online study or alternative paths. Here, they connect with peers, receive mentoring tailored to their needs, and take part in practical, creative, and reflective sessions that help them develop the skills and confidence to grow in their own way.
At the Hub, each day focuses on helping young people develop the skills behind their progress — supporting them in managing their focus, breaking down tasks, and making sense of information in a way that fits how they think. Alongside this, there is time to connect, socialize, and take part in sessions that broaden their horizons and expose them to new ideas and perspectives.
We have the courage to be innovators. Supporting young people today requires fresh thinking and flexible approaches. At Horizon Hub, we stay informed on the latest research and insights, using what works to guide and adapt our mentoring for each individual. Mentoring at Horizon Hub is tailored to each young person, providing the emotional and social tools they need to grow, understand the world around them, and develop critical thinking and empathy to face life’s challenges.
Ultimately, Horizon Hub is a place for young people to find their voice through exploration.
The Rhythm of the Hub
Research shows that shorter, focused blocks of work, combined with meaningful support and hands-on experiences, improve motivation, focus, and wellbeing.
At Horizon Hub, we put this into practice by creating a rhythm that includes personal growth, independent project time, and practical skill-building. During independent project time, young people work on whatever they are exploring — from creative projects and personal interests to online courses — with support from mentors to strengthen focus, organization, and self-management. The Hub is open daily from 9:00–14:00.
Participants can choose the pathway that works for them:
-
Four-day Hub on-site, with the fifth day for home projects and mentor support available on call if needed
-
Three-day Hub on-site
-
Two-day Hub on-site
Our aim is to support their independent goals through mentoring — helping them develop the emotional strength to pursue what matters to them, the critical thinking to develop their independent voice, and the empathy to engage with different perspectives.
Mentoring Group Sessions
Our sessions are designed with the understanding that developing a strong sense of self, within the context of the world young people live in, is essential for their wellbeing. Many adolescents who choose to leave traditional systems come with a lack of confidence or a sense that they haven’t navigated the system successfully. Our aim is to help them regain confidence and discover their strengths as part of our mentoring philosophy.
We place emphasis on shared experiences and the ability to listen to others, helping young people build social awareness and see different perspectives in action — insights we can then bring into the individual mentoring each adolescent receives. Reflecting on themselves and the society around them is a key part of building resilience, confidence, and a deeper understanding of their place in the world.
Sessions explore four core areas:
-
Life Skills & Real-World Confidence – supporting young people to make decisions, plan ahead, and take ownership of their future, including topics like budgeting, managing resources, and preparing for next steps
-
Critical Thinking & Social Awareness – helping adolescents reflect on information, question assumptions, and develop an independent voice, covering areas like social media, narratives, and analyzing bias
-
Creative Expression – encouraging exploration of ideas and emotions through creative outlets, including drama, storytelling, film, music, and public speaking
-
Wellbeing & Personal Growth – guiding young people to strengthen emotional regulation, resilience, and self-reflection, with activities that build confidence and inner stability
Sessions are designed to provide a safe space for exploration and are led by our mentors, alongside guest speakers from a range of fields who bring real-world perspectives and experiences.
Private Mentoring Sessions
Each young person at Horizon Hub is paired with a personal mentor who supports their progress and growth. During the day, mentors touch base with every teen to reflect on their needs, challenges, and achievements.
Each adolescent also has a private weekly session with their mentor, together, they set personal goals, reflect on experiences, and have a safe space to share thoughts and emotions.
The combination of group sessions and private mentoring allows us to see each young person holistically, with insights from one setting feeding into the other — creating a truly personalized approach to support, growth, and development.
Who Is It For?
Horizon Hub is designed for young people and their families seeking an alternative approach — one that values creativity, critical thinking, and wellbeing, while supporting each individual’s personal growth.
Through personalized mentoring, we guide adolescents who thrive with more independence, want to explore their strengths, or are looking for meaning and purpose in their development.
Whatever path a family has chosen — whether online programs, courses, or self-directed exploration — Horizon Hub provides mentoring, guidance, and interactive group sessions to complement their journey.
Registration follows Cypriot law: participants must have completed the mandatory school attendance phase.
Mentors
At Horizon Hub, we focus on building strong, trusting relationships. By prioritizing connection, upholding shared values, and maintaining clear boundaries, our mentors create a safe space where young people feel supported as they explore, reflect, and grow.

What If Every Teen Had This Support?
Special education has developed powerful practices that prioritize social–emotional development, strong relationships, and individualized support. Increasingly, research shows that these approaches benefit all learners, not only those with identified learning differences.
In this session, we will explore the why and the how of these approaches, and how mentoring can help adolescents build confidence, reconnect with motivation, and begin finding their own direction.
We will also welcome a guest speaker from Elea Online School, who will share their perspective on online schooling and how flexible learning models have opened new opportunities for this kind of individualized approach.
Date: March 26 | Time: 20:00 (8:00 PM) | Online via Zoom
